Preparation
Surfaces must be sound, dry and free from dust, loose matter, oil, grease or other contaminants.
Very smooth, polished or dense surfaces may require acid etching prior to application of Chemclear.
Application
Coverage
Usage is 6-7 m2/litre, dependant on porosity of surface. As a surface sealer to exposed aggregate or slate, the application rate is approximately 10-12 m2/litre.
Thinning
Chemclear Solvent Grade should only be thinned with Chemind GP Solvent. Water based "W" Grade is thinned with clean water.
Packaging
Chemclear is packed in 20 litre pails and 200 litre drums.
Storage
Chemclear should be stored in closed containers in a cool dry place.
Solvent-based Chemclear must be kept away from any fire hazards or ignition sources.
Precautions
Solvent Grade Chemclear liquid is highly flammable. Keep away from open flame and use only in well-ventilated areas.
Open foods, meats, vegetables and dairy products may pick up odours while drying. Protective gloves and eye protection should be worn during use.
Clean-up
Remove uncured Chemclear W with water, and uncured solvent-based Chemclear with Chemind GP Solvent.
Chemind GP Solvent may assist with the removal of cured product. Exercise care when using solvents. Please review all MSDS before use.
