Description
A unique, coloured two-pack, high-solids, water dispersed, resinous liquid compound, which cures to form a tough waterproof membrane bonded securely to the surface.
Uses
Chemind Chemcote W is used for high performance sealing and repair of civil and commercial construction such as:
Repair of leaking lift pits, basement walls, tanks, water features and planters
Waterproof coating to negative face of solid internal walls and floors
Preventing rising damp in concrete floors, under vinyl, timber, carpet or ceramic tiles.
Sealer on damp concrete, masonry and brick surfaces before Chemind Aquagard M membrane or Chemflex PU sealant application.
Highly durable, fast-cure chemical and abrasion resistant floor coating to plant rooms, chemical storage vaults, steps, ramps, etc.

Preparation
Surfaces shall be clean, free from dirt, coatings, oil, wax and loose matter. All surface defects, holes etc. shall be made good with Chemind Chembond modified mortar. Concrete should be smooth and brick joints flush.

Coverage
Consumption will vary depending on the porosity and texture of the substrate, but average total is 2-3 m²/ litre.
Packaging
Chemcote W is available in 3.2 litre sets and 14 litre sets
Shelf Life
Unopened containers of Chemcote W will have a minimum shelf life of 2 years, when stored in a dry, cool place.
Clean-up
Wash up with warm water and detergent. Cured Chemcote W material may be removed with Paint Stripper. Exercise care when using solvents.
Handling and Toxicity
General precautions should be taken to avoid skin contact. Use of barrier cream and disposable polyethylene or rubber or polyethylene is recommended.
Should skin contact occur, wash the affected area with soap and water.
