Description
A high impact resistant, UV stabilised, extruded thermoplastic sheeting material. Its unique multi-fluted design gives increased strength, impact, puncture and damage resistance.
Uses
Chemind Protectoboard is specially designed for protection of all Chemind liquid tanking membrane systems, as well as for Grace Bituthene® self-adhesive sheet and Procor® membranes.
It provides excellent damage protection and uninterrupted drainage to basement or lift pit walls, retaining walls, planter boxes and landscaped podium decks.
Chemind Protectoboard is also widely used to prevent damage of carpet, marble flooring, vanity tops, kitchen benches as well as lift walls and floors, during construction.

Preparation
Waterproofing membranes must be carefully inspected to insure that there are no signs of damage. Only the waterproofing contractor should repair damage before Chemind Protectoboard placement proceeds.
Application
Coverage
Each sheet of Protectoboard will cover approx. 2.23m². Allow 5% wastage for cutting and loss.
Packaging
Chemind Protectoboard is supplied in sheets 1.83 m x 1.22 m.
Storage
As Protectoboard is very lightweight, it should be stored in a protected area or weighted to prevent displacement by high wind. It is otherwise unaffected by short or medium term exposure to the elements.
