Preparation
Installed waterproofing membranes must be carefully inspected to insure that there are no signs of damage. Repair damaged areas before Chemind Protectodrain placement proceeds.
Application
Coverage
Each sheet of Protectodrain will cover approx. 2.16 m². Allow 5% wastage for cutting and loss.
Each roll of Protectodrain will cover approximately 60 m2. Allow 5% wastage for cutting and loss.
Packaging
Chemind Protectodrain sizes are:
1.8 m x 1.2 m sheets and
1.2 m x 50 m (60 m2) rolls
Storage
As Protectodrain is very lightweight, it should be stored in a protected area or weighted to prevent displacement by high wind. It is otherwise unaffected by short or medium term exposure to the elements.
Shelf Life
Fully protected sheets and rolls of Protectodrain that are protected from surface contamination, will have an indefinite shelf life.
