Pyrosleeve "Cast-In" fire collars are manufactured from a high impact plastic casing to house intumescent material which is activated in the event of fire, crushing the plastic pipe and sealing against the passage of flame and hot gases. The intumescent material is unaffected by water or atmospheric influences and industrial environments, and is also resistant to dilute acids, alkalis, paints and conventional construction materials, such as gypsum, lime, cement and adhesives.

Pyrosleeve "RF" (Retrofit) fire collars are manufactured from a steel casing to house the intumescent material which is activated in the event of fire, crushing the plastic pipe and sealing against the passage of flame and hot gases. Pyrosleeve "RF" fire collars have been tested and approved to AS 1530 part 4, 1997 and can achieve a fire resistance rating of up to two (2) hours depending on the construction element it is installed in.

The Pyrosleeve RF150 can achieve up to a four-hour fire rating, and is fully tested and approved for use on uPVC, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, HDPE and ABS pipes.

Pyrosleeve "Cast-In" fire collars have been tested and approved to AS1530 Part 4, 1997 and AS4072 Part 1, 1992 and can achieve a two (2) hour fire resistance rating in concrete floors.

PYROSLEEVE "TITAN"

The Pyrosleeve Titan fire collar is manufactured from a robust canister which contains Intumex "L". The Intumex "L" intumescent material is slightly raised above the deck to allow for a two hour plus performance. A one part unit designed for cast-in applications, the fire collar will prevent the passage of flames and hot gases penetrating through fire rated floors by crushing the pipe and providing a fire resistant barrier.

Application

The Pyrosleeve "TITAN" Fire Collar has been designed specifically for cast-in applications providing a quick and cost effective alternative for fire rating of plastic pipes.

Pyropanel Retrofit collar are available in 3 sizes (32 to 50mm, 65 to 100mm, and 150mm).

The collars are all designed to take a pipe fitting, they are fixed to the underside of the concrete using spike anchors.

The Pyrorap fire collar is available in 7 sizes (25,32,40,50,65,80 and 100mm), they are designed to go around pipe only in a cored penetration or in conjunction with M4 mortar.

Intumescent Wrap

"PYRORAP"- The intumescent wrap for plastic pipe systems.

Pyrorap is on intumescent wrap contained in a plastic bag and is designed to intumesce under fire conditions for nominal bore uPVC pipes from 40-100mm. It is designed for core-hole or block-out applications.

Under fire conditions the Pyrorap will prevent the passage of flames and hot gases penetrating through "fire rated floors and walls" providing a fire resistant barrier for up to four hours.

Application

Pyrorap has been designed especially for core-hole, block-out and retro-fit applications and is a cost effective, labour saving alternative for the fire rating of uPVC pipes.

Fire Resistant Mortar

"M4" FIRE RESISTANT MORTAR

Pyropanel "M4" Fire Resistant Mortar is a water based. lightweight, high insulation mortar, which provides a fire barrier for up to four (4) hours for openings with building service penetrations. "M4" Fire Resistant Mortar contains no toxic or smoke producing materials and is water resistant after curing.

Application

"M4" Fire Resistant Mortar is used to reinstate concrete floor openings around building services such as electrical cables, metal or copper pipes and cable trays.

Packaging

20 Kilogram bags.

Mixing Instructions

Mix with water as instructed on package. Provide form work under opening and trowel in mortar. Leave form work for at least 24 hours.

Fire Resistant Pillows

PYROPANEL FIRE PILLOWS

Pyropanel fire pillows contain non-combustible rockwool in a woven fabric cover.

Application

To provide optimum fire protection the pillows must be firmly packed into the opening by compressing each pillow to approximately 30 mm thick. All voids must be filled with Multiflex sealant to a depth of 50 mm.

Pyropanel Fire Pillow System has been fully tested and approved in accordance to AS1530 Part 4, 1990 and can achieve a fire resistance rating of up to three (3) hours, depending on the construction element.

Pyropanel Fire Pillows Features

Pyropanel Fire Pillows can achieve up to two (2) hours rating when penetrated by telecommunication cable packs and copper busbars up to three (3) hour rating when penetrated by a cable tray. Can be used in conjunction with the Pyropanel floor panel system up to three (3) hours.

INTUMEX PS FIRE PILLOWS

Designed for installation into new or existing openings formed in masonry, concrete or drywall construction to protect against the spread of flame and hot gases and to limit the spread of fire.

Application

Intumex PS Pillow systems allow pipes, cables, cable trays and conduits to pass through without reducing the effectiveness of fire barriers. Ideal for use in computer areas, power stations and buildings under construction, for both wall and floor applications.

This system has been fully tested and approved in accordance to AS 1530 Part 4, 1990 and can achieve a fire resistance rating of up to four (4) hours, depending on the construction element.

Intumex PS PillowFeatures

Designed with a dust proof inner polyethylene bag and outer covering of distinctively marked polyurethane bag. Intumex PS pillows are recommended for use in penetrations up to a maximum of 0.5m2 area.

MULTIFLEX SEALANT

Pyropanel Multiflex sealant is a one component, general purpose fire resistant sealant for construction joints and the sealing of service penetrations in plasterboard, concrete floors and masonry wall constructions.

When cured, Multiflex provides an elastic flexible seal which will permit 30% compression, 20% extension and sheet movement egual to 20% of the gap width, and a total joint movement capability of 50%.

Application

Multiflex sealant is an efficient and economical sealant ideally suited for joints and gaps in the building and construction industry. When combined with PyropanelB FR Boa rd, Thermacheck Fire Pillows or Pyrosleeve Fire Collars, Multiflex can be used to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through walls and floors. ·

Acoustic capabilities

An added feature of Multiflex is its acoustic capabilities, where it has achieved an acoustic rating of 56 STC at the Acoustics Testing Services Department at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

When installing Multiflex use standard caulking techniques for cartridges, pails or sausages.
